I am so grateful to Hina and the other therapists at Rebalance. When I started suffering from pelvic pain got diagnosed with interstitial cystitis, I was frightened and overwhelmed. I didn’t know where to begin helping myself and worried that the pain would take over my life. Not only did the therapists at Rebalance help me reduce the pain, they offered me a sense of control and dignity in dealing with what initially felt like an embarrassing problem. I learned so much from them so quickly, felt better, and was inspired by the grace with which they help people.

I can’t say enough positive things about Hina Seth and Rebalance Physical Therapy. Hina has helped me specifically with an acute shoulder and neck problem and overall with certain physical ailments (joint and back issues) I thought were just part of normal aging, but under her regimen have improved. No other treatment provided relief before this therapy under Hina’s supervision. She is extremely knowledgeable in her field, thorough and diligent in performing her examinations, highly capable in execution of treatment, and extraordinarily compassionate in delivery of care. Her assistant is professional and exceedingly helpful and responsive in scheduling appointments and handling any administrative details as well. I would highly recommend the practice.

Two years ago my life changed when I was diagnosed with an illness that then developed into severe pelvic pain. My doctor recommended Pelvic Floor Therapy and that I call Rebalance Physical Therapy for a consultation. At my first appointment I met my wonderful Therapist, Jackie and I started on my journey to get my life back again. Jackie made me feel so comfortable in what could have been an embarrassing situation for me. Through my therapy Jackie has not only reduced my pain but also given me stretches and exercises that I do at home. Thank you so much Jackie, what would my life be without your expert knowledge in Pelvic Floor Therapy.

I was injured at work and needed a physical therapist who specialized in pelvic disorders. I was afraid of going to the “wrong place,” where the clinicians were well-intentioned, but unable to give me individual attention and understand the complexities of treating sacroiliac joint problems. Doing some research online, I found Rebalance PT. I read their website, and discovered that not only do they specifically treat SI problems, but they also provide one-on-one treatment, and have experience with another condition I have- Interstitial Cystitis. I immediately made an appointment. From the very first session, I knew I made the right choice. I entered nervous, unable to sit down, limping, and in pain; I left with my pelvis re-aligned, a plan for recovery, and hope. I spent several weeks of intensive therapy with both Jackie and Hina. Each had their own style, but both were incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, thorough, and kind. They knew exactly where it hurt, and how to address the pain. Every time I left, I felt reassured that I really would truly recover. The best part about working with these women, was that they didn’t just treat my SI joint. They knew that this injury affected my entire pelvis, my spine, all the surrounding muscles, and even my bladder. They identified an injury that not even my orthopedic surgeon considered. And they were right. My lumbar facet joints were inflamed, and not responding to conservative measures. My doctor listened to my PTs, and I got the injections I needed to get over the last hump of my core stability exercises. Only a few sessions into my treatment, Hina identified and diagnosed a condition that I have likely suffered with for at least 9 years, but never knew about. For the first time, I realized that the chronic pain I had been having for so long was actually treatable. Pelvic Floor Dysfunction explained so much. Why had no provider ever identified this until now I wondered? It took a few simple questions, and a five minute evaluation to determine the physical source of pain I had privately accepted for almost a decade was entirely psychological. But Hina and Jackie new better. Their experience working with people with PFD allowed them to tailor my treatment to avoid aggravating my chronic condition, while making me strong enough to resume full-time work and get back to my life. They even went as far as to refer me to one of the few, incredible, nurse practitioners who specialize in PFD and IC in the Philadelphia area. I am now on a new course of treatment to improve my quality of life – treatment I never knew was possible before I met Jackie and Hina. I feel truly fortunate to have been their patient, and forever grateful for the knowledge, compassion, and hope they have given me.
