My teenage daughter had been complaining of pain in the pelvic region for months and later told me it had been hurting her for far longer than that. It took me a while to convince my daughter to come to see Hina because she was “uncomfortable at the thought of being examined “…On the very first visit with Hina, she was able to diagnose the problem, explain it to us and most importantly, put my daughter at ease. Each treatment provided more and more relief and at this point my daughter “is almost 100%…”.I would recommend Hina to others as she is a respectful and skilled therapist.

My daughter complained of low back pain for some time. Luckily, our doctor recommended Hina. Hina worked with my daughter in the office and also gave her exercises to use at home. As a result, the back pain has been significantly reduced and my daughter is able to fully participate in varsity sports. In addition to Hina’s professional skills, she is an absolute pleasure to deal with! She is responsive regarding scheduling, she is flexible and is always willing to answer questions. I would highly recommend Hina.

I came to Hina by the recommendation from my orthopaedic and rehabilitation doctor for shoulder, neck and upper back pain. These injuries I had received in a car accident a year prior to starting with Hina. I had done physical therapy for the previous year at another location. I improved in mobility and strength, but seemed to plateau with moderate to severe back pain. The previous therapists had overlooked that and kept working on muscle strength. After complaining about pain at all of my visits back to the doctor, I ended up with Hina. After day 1, I felt better. She started working on areas of most concern to me. As she worked, it might have been painful at times, but when I walked out, I always felt looser, lighter and all around better. The routine and exercises she put together never once left me in pain. She would always show me how to do the activities assigned. Then make sure I could do it and do it properly on my own. If it was too easy or hard, she would modify so I had the right difficulty for my level. The manual therapy helped reduce the underlying causes of the pain I had. Hina was always welcoming and able to explain all of the details to me about what she was doing. Nine months later, Hina had put together a routine to help continue muscle strength, nerve glides and exercises to strengthen my core. She created “the bible” for me to take with me when I moved out of state to continue my progress. Hina has continued contact with me to make sure that I am doing my exercises, update on my progress and follow-ups with my insurance company. In the end, I was sad I made the choice to move out of state because I couldn’t bring Hina with me. I haven’t found anyone or any Physical Therapy place like it.

I came to Hina at the recommendation of my primary care physician, whom Hina had assisted. Even though I had been to “the best” orthopedist practice in Philadelphia, to three physical therapists, and an acupuncturist, Hina was the first one to accurately diagnose the source of my lower back pain. Her therapy helped relieve the pain immensely, and she also gave me suggestions for how to keep up my physical activity (yoga) without re-injuring myself. Thanks so much, Hina!

After nearly a year of unbearable suffering from excrutiating rectal pain caused by a compressed Pudendal nerve, and bladder pain from IC, I met Hina Sheth of ReBalance Physical Therapy. I had already seen every specialist available with no result. In fact, none of my doctors even understood my condition or knew of any way to get me help. On one of my endless internet searches I found Hina’s website describing my pain to the letter. I had never before heard of pelvic floor physical therapy and while it seemed to be exactly what I needed I was skeptical. I also had never gone to a specialist without a recommendation from either a patient or doctor who was personally familiar with the practitioner. However, I was so desperate I took the plunge. To say that Hina has changed my life is an understatement. Most striking was her heartfelt compassion for my condition and her mission to help relieve my pain. I worked with her weekly for over a year and she always made herself available especially in times of crisis. Her plan of therapy greatly reduced my pain and made my life more functional. She was always willing to discuss new therapies, doctors, and procedures and even researched new techniques for my condition. Hina also worked closely with my other doctors making sure everyone was on the same page. Her follow-up is incredible and even now that I no longer see her regularly she still reaches out to see how I am. I have complete confidence in recommending Hina Sheth and ReBalance Physical Therapy to anyone suffering from IC or Pudendal Nerve Compression. (March 2011)
