Hina Sheth is the owner and practitioner of Rebalance Physical Therapy. She is a board certified physical therapist specializing in orthopedics including spine and pelvic floor rehabilitation. She is an orthopedic clinical specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association and a manual certified therapist through the University of St. Augustine. Hina received her bachelors in Liberal Arts and Science from the University of Florida in 1998 and her Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in 2000. Shortly after graduating, she moved to New York City where she specialized in orthopedics with emphasis on spine and sacroiliac joint dysfunction.
She moved to Philadelphia in 2004 where she started trained as a pelvic floor specialist at the University of Pennsylvania. She worked closely with renowned physicians, mentored and trained junior staff. She assisted in teaching physical therapy students at Arcadia University. She also developed an eclectic approach to treatment integrating various manual techniques with Yoga and Pilates. She continues to work closely with some of the best physicians throughout the Philadelphia health care systems and surrounding suburbs. She lectures several times throughout the year at Temple, University of Pennsylvania, Hahnemann/Drexel/ Lankenau, Thomas Jefferson Hospitals on spinal dysfunction and pelvic pain and the holistic model of dysfunction and treatment. She participates in NIH research studies (2008 on Interstitial Cystitis and Physical Therapy treatment) and has co-authored chapters in several urogynecologic manuals on pelvic pain. She is also an exam writer for the American Physical Therapy Association's women's health exam. She has mentored with some of the best and world renown spine, sacroiliac joint manual therapists including, Stanley Paris, Mark Laslett, Diane Lee and Linda Joy Lee. She constantly pursuing her craniosacral therapy course work to further enhance her manual therapy skills.
Hina is an active member of the National Vulvadynia Association, International Pelvic Pain Society, American Physical Therapy Association and Interstitial Cystitis Network.
Outside of Rebalance, Hina loves to spend quality time with her husband, 3 kids and her dog Rooney. Her ideal way to spend an evening is entertaining close friends enjoying great food and wine. She is also a lover of travel, skiing and photography and she is a self-help junkie.
Stephanie Muntzer earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Saint Joseph's University in 1995 while competing on their NCAA Division I Cross Country Conference Championship team and Track teams eventually attaining membership into the Hall of Fame for her accomplishments. After working in the training room with fellow athletes and rehabilitating injuries of her own, she made the decision to pursue a Master's degree in Physical Therapy from University of the Sciences in Philadelphia in 1998.
During her early years in outpatient practice, Stephanie began to appreciate the impact of pelvic floor and temporomandibular dysfunctionas they related to her clinical practice. She spent 15 years at the University of Pennsylvania specializing in orthopedic, pelvic floor, and temporomandibular (TMD) treatment for individuals with TMD, orthopedic and sports injuries as well as pelvic floor and sacroiliac dysfunction.
She worked with respected physicians, nurse practitioners, and therapists mentoring staff and instructing students. She has lectured professionally for the University of Pennsylvania, Arcadia University and the University of the Sciences about pelvic floor dysfunction, spinal dysfunction, pregnancy, and TMD. Locally in the community she teaches injury prevention, Pilates, and various topics in women's health. Additionally, she has trained local sports teams in the prevention of sports related injuries.
In 2006, Stephanie attained a Pilates Certification specifically for
clinical care providers. She utilizes Pilates in her practice
incorporating knowledge of mat and various Pilates equipment with her
patients. Stephanie continues to build her practice base using
knowledge of yoga, meditation, and restorative exercise as they impact
her personal health and the health of her patients. Stephanie received
her Functional Movement Certification in 2015 and is currently pursuing a
therapeutic yoga certification.
In her time out of the clinic, Stephanie enjoys Pilates, yoga, running,
and strength training. She holds time with her husband, 2 daughters and
family as her most cherished.
Elayne Geba is originally from Illinois, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science from Bradley University in 2002. She moved to the Philadelphia area and earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Temple University in 2005. It was during this time she was initially introduced to pelvic floor physical therapy and grew an affinity to the specialty area during an internship. She continued to pursue advanced pelvic floor training to be able to help patients with pelvic pain, sexual dysfunctions, bowel and bladder dysfunctions. She has since taken several advanced pelvic floor, orthopedic, and manual therapy courses, including achieving a Certificate of Achievement in Pelvic Physical Therapy (CAPP-Pelvic) from the American Physical Therapy Association and Women's Health Certified Specialist (WCS) Certification. She is active in the APTA and Section on Women's Health and has previous experience as the program director and mentor for both Orthopedic and Women's Health residency programs at the University of Pennsylvania. Elayne has worked clinically as an advanced clinician mentoring students, residents, and other therapists, while also providing community lectures, physician lectures, and teaching academically for university physical therapy programs.
She previously worked at Rebalance in 2012-2013 until she relocated cross-country to San Francisco in the Fall of 2013. While there, she worked closely with OB/GYNs and urologists to develop a comprehensive pelvic floor program at Sequoia Hospital. She also worked very closely with pregnant patients throughout their prenatal, delivery, and postpartum care and would like to continue to address the impact of physical therapy during the antenatal period, specifically during delivery. She also has an affinity for patients suffering from chronic pain syndromes; evaluating and treating the whole body to find the best treatment for these patients. She relocated back to the Philadelphia area in the Spring of 2016 and is very excited to return to Rebalance where the focus is on the whole patient, one-on-one care, and achieving the best outcomes to return the patients to their highest function and best quality of life. .
On a personal level, she loves being outdoors with her husband Scott, son Logan and Beagle Spencer. She loves sports and attending games (go Flyers!), being active outdoors, reading, running and is currently learning Spanish.
Jacquelyn Suniaga earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the Pennsylvania State University in 1989. Her life long love and interest for health, wellness and exercise drew her to change her career path and pursue physical therapy. She returned to school and earned her Master of Physical Therapy degree from Temple University in 2002. While at Temple her primary focus was orthopedic physical therapy. She was exposed to pelvic floor physical therapy on her final internship and grew an affinity for this specialty.
Since graduating she has worked in outpatient orthopedic clinics treating all orthopedic diagnosis including pelvic floor dysfunction. Additionally she has treated bowel and bladder dysfunction, sexual dysfunction, musculoskeletal dysfunction related to pregnancy and has a strong background in spine care. Prior to joining the Rebalance staff she worked several years for a spine specialty clinic on the Main Line working directly withsome of the finest spine physicians in the area. She has completed advanced course work in the field having taken several advanced orthopedic, spine, pelvic floor and manual therapy courses. She plans to continue her studies in preparation for the
Women's Health Certified Specialist examination. She is also an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
Jacquelyn
joined Rebalance Physical Therapy because she values one‐on‐one hands
on approach to patient care. Recently she has personally benefited from
yoga. Her aspiration is to incorporate yoga, meditation and other
holistic healing modalities to improve her patients' quality of life and
overall well‐being. When Jacquelyn is not working she enjoys reading,
cooking, yoga, running and strength training. She especially enjoys
spending time with friends, family, husband Leo and dog Jimmy.
